Fiesole Summer Festival

Runs from June to September each year and includes music, theatre and dance. The tradition of this festival dates back to 1948 and takes place in the Fiesole amphitheater.

Fochi di San Giovanni

Celebration of the birth of St John the Baptist - celebrated with fireworks on June 24th.

Florence Marathon

Takes place in November of each year. In 2007 it will take place on November 23rd.
